Alpha Chi on the Go: Spring Break

Welcome to the week of fun in the sun (or snow)! Alpha Chi Omega trekked around the world, reaching places from San Francisco all the way to Rome. Some sisters spent their week in sunny Florida, Mexico, and the Caribbean, while others preferred the colder climate of Colorado, Pennsylvania, and North Carolina. We went hiking, skiing, cruising, shopping, and biking; some girls even served on mission trips in Honduras and Cuba. If you look closely, you might even spot an Alpha Chi girl on the front row of the Ellen Show in Los Angeles! From strolling down Rodeo Drive to munching on snow cones in Seaside, Florida, Alpha Chi had a fabulous spring break we’ll never forget!

Q: How did you spend your spring break, and what were your favorite moments?

A: Claire Copeland– “Eleven of my closest friends and I spent our weekend in a log cabin outside Asheville, North Carolina. We hiked trails, hot tubbed in the cold weather, watched movies, played cards, and saw the most beautiful sights around, both in nature and in the city!”

A: Amanda Teasley– “I went snowboarding in Breckenridge, CO with Lauren Pole, Carey Browder, Carley Browder, Leighton Martin, and Kaytlyn Carlson! Breckenridge was a great place to visit on spring break because I felt like we were stepping outside of the “normal” box of spring break spots. We were lucky enough to get fresh snow almost every day, and the view from on top of the mountain was one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen!”

A: Maddie Rubio talking about her Ellen Show experience– “This day felt like a dream! I didn’t think it could get much better after we got seated in the front row, but I was totally wrong! Between Twitch asking me to dance with him and standing just a few feet in front of Ellen, it was easily the greatest spring break memory ever!”

A: Hannah Presley– ”My favorite thing that I did over spring break was skydive in Cullman, Alabama! I got to knock it off my bucket list and it was hands down one of the coolest things I have ever done.”
